Welcome to dbExpress for ADO, dbExpress for ODBC and dbExpress for MS SQL homepage!

       Overview

       Delphi 6 introduces dbExpress - a cross-platform, database-independent and an extensible interface that provides a set of methods for dynamic SQL processing. dbExpress serves as the next generation data-access layer for Kylix, Delphi and C++ Builder.

       dbExpress for ADO allows to access data in any remote or local OLE DB data source.
       dbExpress for ODBC allows to access data in any remote or local ODBC data source.
       dbExpress for MS SQL allows to access data from any remote or local MS SQL Server.

       Database systems which can be access includes Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2, Informix, Sybase, Interbase and any other database, which has OLE DB provider or Windows compatible ODBC driver.

       Key features

  • High-performance native access to OLE DB providers, ODBC data sources and SQL Server 7/2000;
  • Compatibility with standard and third-party Delphi data-aware controls;
  • Easy installation and distribution;
